SERAPHIQUE Begins Recording Sophomore Album

Dutch metallers SERAPHIQUE have parted ways with drummer drummer Peter de Vries. Replacing him in the group's current formation is Mischa Theuvenet, brother of guitarist Chris and a member of Eindhoven's TREADSTONE 71. Mischa has already recorded most of the drums for the band's second album, "Black Alpha", and reportedly did "an amazing job" at his first gig with SERAPHIQUE.

The follow-up to 2004's "Chrysalis", "Black Alpha" will once again be self-produced and is tentatively scheduled for release next year. More information is available at www.seraphique.com.
